Jamie McHugh is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, dancer, artist and social animator. He is the creator of Somatic Expression® - Body Wisdom for Modern Minds, an integrative approach to the art and craft of embodiment. Jamie has been teaching worldwide for the past 35 years, introducing somatic and expressive technologies to varied populations including people in recovery and those challenging chronic illness as well as healthcare professionals, therapists and educators.
Jamie lives on the Northern California coast, where he leads retreats, creates art and teaches online seminars and trainings. www.somaticexpression.com Joy Cosculluela is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator, director, choreographer, movement artist, and bodyworker. Joy is founder/artistic director of The Wayfinding Performance Group, a collective of multi-cultural women animated by themes of home, belonging, loss and resilience. Joy has created dance theatre performances Homing Devices and All That Remains, and has performed with Anna Halprin (Parades and Changes, Spirit of Place, Seasons). She was resident artist at SF SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts and guest performer in SF fools fury Festival. Joy teaches at Tamalpa Institute and coaches people from all walks of life. Joy works with presence-based body practice to catalyze transformation. Shelley Richanbach is a movement-based expressive arts practitioner and recovery coach who brings creative resources to women in need of behavioral health and recovery services. Passionate about performing arts and social justice—Shelley is associate producer for The Creative High, an independent documentary film that explores how artists who have faced addiction create. In addition she is thrilled to be a member of Dance Generators West, an intergeneration dance company that shows that people of any age can be physically and artistically vital.
